Whether you're training kids or adults, the RWS Schutze is ideal. It's lightweight, but not too light. It's got enough power to make sure you can hit targets at close and medium distances. It's a breakbarrel spring gun, so it's easy to learn and operate. And, the cocking effort is only 19 lbs.! Fiber optic sights (fixed front, adjustable rear) make it easier to acquire a target. It has a totally ambidextrous stock, which makes the gun suitable for lefties, too. Just because it's a training rifle, don't think the manufacturer cut corners. This gun is made to perform and last a lifetime. While the gun is plenty accurate as is, you can extract even more accuracy by mounting a scope on the 11mm dovetail....
